COMMUNICATION
Skoun Gala Dinner Event
Skoun is the first outpatient therapeutic facility in Lebanon that offers prevention and treatment to drug users. For the organisation’s 10th anniversary gala dinner event, Studio Safar designed the set and decorations at the venue as well as the communication items(invitation cards, brochure and menus, social media applications). Inspired by the OneThousand and One Night theme chosen by the organisation, the setting included cut-outs of pyramids, camels, palm trees and other elements related to the theme. On another hand, the invitation cards and menus, hot-stamped in gold, marked a direct reference to the maintheme of the event.

Baalbeck International Festival
For the 2013 edition of the prestigious festival, Studio Safar created a communication campaign that revolves around the festival’s logo (designed by architect David Corm),and highlights its corporate orange and blue palette. The early graphic work produced for the festival was a great source of inspiration for this year’s campaign, leading us towards stark visuals combining bold typography with playful images. The minimalist approach-monotone visuals on white background- was suggested for the campaign to stand out among the cluster of crowded visuals and colors in the streets of Beirut. The different items designed were announcement, general and individual posters, billboards, press, ads, banners, tickets, ticket holders and press kit.
PUBLICATION
Legal Agenda
The Legal Agenda is a platform that informs citizens of the Arab world about their judicial systems. It invites people to be critical of them and to actively take part in their development. Studio Safar has been designing the bi-monthly publication since June 2012, focusing on the art direction of commissioned artwork and introducing custom-made illustrations into the publication.
